The Illinois Institute of Private Colleges and Universities (“The Institute”) identified the need to educate on the importance of early saving and investment habits. While government entities do this, the vehicles of this information have been static and included an overload of information. The Institute was seeking an innovative digital solution for achieving this goal.

C|S|S worked with The Institute to articulate their goals and translate them into a digital strategy. The approach focused on a mobile app that allows users to set regular alarms to save small amounts, check their accounts for fees, interest, and charges, and check in with their employers regarding annual benefits. Some very crucial steps for saving, investing, and protecting ones finances supplement the functionality. The app also provides a live Twitter feed of relevant financial updates and a refined financial reference. In addition to the app, the website provides the financial information and promotes the mobile application.

C|S|S designed the InvestToday logo and provided all UI/UX. We developed and released the mobile app for both iOS and Android. The website was developed in Umbraco, a leading open source .NET content management system (CMS), and we provided steps to the client to make updates independently to the site. C|S|S also assisted in the set-up of all ancillary third-party services.
